</h3>
<p>
You can import your ads&#8212;complete with the ad title, ad text, display URL (uniform
resource locator), and destination URL, for all ads in an ad group&#8212;into Microsoft
adCenter from other online advertising programs.

</h3>
<p>
Complete the following steps to import ads using a Microsoft Office Excel file or
<a href="http://help.live.com/help.aspx?project=adCenter_ContentAds_Beta_ss&mkt=en-us&querytype=keyword&query=yekdi04">
comma-separated-values </a>(CSV) file.

<ol>
<li>Click the <strong>Campaigns </strong>tab. </li>
<li>On the <strong>Select a campaign </strong>page, click the campaign that includes
the ad group you want to import ads into. </li>
<li>On the <strong>Select an ad group </strong>page, click the ad group that you want
to import the ads into. </li>
<li>Click the <strong>Ads </strong>tab.

<li>If this is a <em>Draft </em>ad group, enter campaign and ad group settings and click
<strong>Continue</strong>. </li>
<li>At the top of <em>the </em>table, click <strong>Import ads</strong>. </li>
<li>If you are using the template, cl <strong>ick Excel </strong>or <strong>CSV</strong>,
type or copy data into <strong></strong>the templ ate, and save the file.

If you are exporting ad information from another online advertising program, ensure
the file contains the same types of data in the same order as shown in the templates.

<li>In the <strong>Choose file </strong>dialog box, select the file, and then click

<li>The ads that are in the template are added to the table. </li>

If you are having trouble importing ads, here are a few suggestions:
</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Make sure the data is in the correct order. </strong>If you downloaded information
from another online advertising program, copy the information into the template,
save it, and then import the saved file. </li>
<li><strong>Make sure the file is closed before you try to import it. </strong></li>
<li><strong>Set your web browser to allow pop-up windows. </strong>For more information,
see Help for your web browser. </li>
<li><strong>Make sure the data you import meets character limits: </strong></li>
<ul>
<li>Ad title must not exceed 25 characters </li>
<li>Ad text must not exceed 70 characters </li>
<li>Display URL must not exceed 35 characters </li>
<li>Destination URL must not exceed 1022 characters </li>

</h3>
<p>
You can also easily import your keywords from other online advertising programs.
By using a Microsoft Office Excel file or <a href="http://help.live.com/help.aspx?project=adCenter_ContentAds_Beta_ss&mkt=en-us&querytype=keyword&query=yekdi04">
comma-separated values </a>(CSV) file, you can import keywords&#8212;complete
with associated <a href="http://help.live.com/help.aspx?project=adCenter_ContentAds_Beta_ss&mkt=en-us&querytype=keyword&query=yekdi04">
bids </a>, <a href="http://help.live.com/help.aspx?project=adCenter_ContentAds_Beta_ss&mkt=en-us&querytype=keyword&query=yekdi04">
dynamic text </a>, and <a href="http://help.live.com/help.aspx?project=adCenter_ContentAds_Beta_ss&mkt=en-us&querytype=keyword&query=yekdi04">
  negative keywords</a>&#8212;into a Microsoft adCenter ad group. The
key to importing keywords is to ensure that the file you are importing contains
the relevant data. Complete the following steps to import keywords:

<li>Click the <strong>Campaigns </strong>tab. </li>
<li>On the <strong>Select a campaign </strong>page, click the campaign that includes
the ad group you want to import keywords into. </li>
<li>On the <strong>Select an ad group </strong>page, click the ad group to import the
keywords into. </li>
<li>On the <strong>Keywords </strong>tab, click <strong>Edit keywords</strong>. </li>
<li>At the top of the table, click <strong>Import keywords</strong>. </li>
<li>If you are using the template, click <strong>Excel </strong>or <strong>CSV</strong>,
type or copy data into the template, and save the file.
