The Microsoft Advertising Accredited Professional program’s Member Spotlight focuses on an Accredited Professional’s business and how they’ve used their adCenter expertise to optimize that business’ performance.
Each month, an Accredited Professional is selected at random and asked to share his or her story.
This month’s pro – Luke Alley – talks about how he uses adCenter and Accredited Professional program training working with Dream Systems Media, based in Lehi, UT and Queen Creek, AZ.

results. As the number of online marketing techniques companies use to grow expands exponentially and the expertise to leverage these techniques becomes increasingly specialized, we have focused on delivering a selected group of online marketing strategies that produce results, including PPC management, SEO, social media promotion, and content marketing (infographics and other viral strategies).
adCenter is an essential piece to our business. As an agency we offer several services to our clients and adCenter has been one of the most effective ways that our clients can get a high volume of qualified traffic. We’ve tried dozens of networks for PPC and Adcenter is one of the few that consistently gives good results to all of our clients. Volume is never a problem either. Our agency helps clients in a wide variety of verticals and adCenter has not failed to bring in good traffic no matter the industry our client is in. In the time that we’ve managed PPC for our clients, adCenter has made huge improvements that make using their platform easier and more efficient. adCenter has allowed us to expand our PPC offering and it’s a network we recommend for all our clients.
The training and accreditation gives our agency a better understanding of how to best use adCenter and instant credibility with current and potential clients. Before I studied and became accredited I thought I knew the ins and outs of adCenter, however after becoming accredited I realized there is a lot more to adCenter than I knew before. Specifically I learned how to more effectively use the adCenter Desktop tool and learning that alone has helped make managing PPC on adCenter much easier and more effective offer.
First, I would recommend following PPC best practices. There is no secret formula for PPC. Find relevant keywords, make tight-knit adgroups with specific ads, test your ads, add negative keywords, and send them to a relevant landing page with a specific goal. Second, take some time and learn how to use Adcenter Desktop. This will save you lots of time and money as you manage PPC over the years. Third, learn what is different about adCenter than other networks and adjust your campaigns accordingly.
