The End-User Experience
  1. The user initially sees three sections to the banner: an image at the left side of the banner and two to three scrolling images on the right side of the banner.
  2. Upon the loading of the banner, the graphic "B" section of the banner begins slowly scrolling from right to left.
  3. If the user clicks on the left side banner, they are directed to the advertiser's URL of choice.
  4. If the user chooses to mouse over any graphic with Section B, the graphics will stop scrolling until the mouse pointer is removed from Section B.
  5. An advertiser can have a different URL for each "B" graphic, but only one click-through will be logged.
 
Note: A user not using IE 4.0 and higher on a PC will be served an alternative static 468X60 banner.

Data Logged by MSN
The MSN system logs the following data and uses those data to create reports:
    • Impressions—number of impressions for the entire ad experience.
    • User click-through—total click-through for the entire ad.

The Scrolling Graphics Banner elements that scroll into the right hand side of the banner will be called from a text file. Please use the ASCII and notepad format shown. The advertiser must fill out the appropriate information within this text file and submit to MSN along with the appropriate image files.
