msnbc.com and its "Fuller Spectrum of News" campaign were recognized last June at the 40 th Annual Effie Awards in New York City. The Effie awards honor the most effective marketing campaigns, as determined by a jury of advertising peers. In the category of Small Budget campaigns, msnbc.com received a Gold Effie for its innovative “Fuller Spectrum of News” campaign, which featured the popular “NewsBreaker” game, playable at www.newsbreakergame.com.
