Microsoft and financial web site EDGAR Online have announced an exclusive partnership. The deal will bring Microsoft advertising to the highly desirable business audience of EDGAR Online, and dynamic, impactful content from EDGAR Online to MSN.
EDGAR Online is a leading provider of interactive business and financial data, with a highly desirable financial and corporate audience. Microsoft will add this savvy readership to its existing business audience from MSN Money and CNBC to offer an even broader reach to advertisers.
Through this deal, Microsoft will exclusively provide display, video, and contextual advertising for EDGAR Online’s 2 million visitors globally per month.
“EDGAR Online attracts a highly targeted audience with its deep business and financial content,” said Brian McAndrews, senior vice president at Microsoft. “Coupling that audience with Microsoft’s advertising technologies is going to be a winning combination for advertisers.”
Microsoft ads are to begin appearing on EDGAR Online in March 2008, and EDGAR Online content is under way now on MSN Money, and will be launched early in 2008.
