Apply customer targeting and incremental bids for your entire campaign with new
campaign-level targeting, and further refine targeting for individual ad groups.*
Our new campaign-level targeting feature will allow you to set geographical location, age and gender, day of week, and time of day targeting options and incremental bids at the campaign level and refine your targeting settings at the ad group level.* (Note: Ad group-level targeting options will override campaign-level targets.)
*Ad group-level targeting is currently available.
The state and city geographical targeting options previously only available through the adCenter web interface will be released to the adCenter API and the adCenter DesktopBeta.
Set city and state targeting for multiple campaigns and ad groups using the adCenter API or DesktopBeta. This is in addition to the previous ability to target customers by countries/regions and metro areas.
Now you can easily set default keyword bids for your ad groups, and use nondefault bids to advance high-profile keywords.
- An improved default bid feature allows you to set the default keyword bid in your ad group. If you have both content and search ads, you can set separate default bids for each.
- You can also set nondefault bids for either all keywords or selected high-profile keywords that you like to monitor frequently.
- When you set a nondefault bid, it overrides the default bid for the keywords in your ad group and will be displayed in bold in the bid column of the table. This will allow you to easily see which bids your keywords are using and quickly update either your default or nondefault bids at once.
These new and improved features are available in adCenter online, API and DesktopBeta.
The Research tab in adCenter online is being improved with easy-to-use steps and new features! You’ll find improved keyword tools that can help you build a more effective keyword list and, as a result, help boost your campaign performance.
- Use new filters to refine suggested keywords.
- View the performance and demographic data by keyword.
- Add selected keywords to your negative keyword list.
- Bid on selected keywords and review estimated performance data.
- Review your new keywords and pricing before adding them to an ad group.
You will notice an updated adCenter appearance with fresh colors, improved settings pages, and better-organized workflows to help you successfully create and manage your advertising campaigns with ease.
- Updated Campaign and Ad Group Settings Pages. Now, your campaign and ad group settings pages have new categories that are easy to follow. A new Targeting settings page allows you to easily set all of your targeting and incremental bid options within one place. There is also a new page to manage your Exclusion settings.
- Updated Campaign Management Grids. Now, your campaign, ad group, ad, and keyword grids are updated with a new look and feel, including the ability to hide columns you do not use, similar to Microsoft Office Excel in adCenter online.
Choose to upload or download specific accounts rather than all accounts at once. You should notice faster upload and download speeds for large accounts, and you can work on one account while another is uploading or downloading.
Update existing ads in bulk with the addition of an Ad Id column in your bulk sheet. You can quickly and easily modify current ads by exporting them, editing them, and then importing them back into adCenter DesktopBeta.
Easily edit items (like campaigns and ad groups) while browsing because the item you select in the Browser pane will now appear selected in the Manager and Editor panes also. This makes it faster to select an item and edit its values.
Now, we make it easier for you to import data from your clipboard, bulk sheet, or from other online advertising editor programs because you will be able to preview how your data is interpreted.
A new Preview Changes step has been added to the import and power post process that allows you to view additions and changes before the import is complete. Items will be categorized as added, skipped, deleted, or updated.
Performance improvements to the DesktopBeta will help increase data capacity limits and provide faster load times.
- Increased capacity: Now you can manage larger amounts of data (more than 100,000 keywords) in each of your accounts.
- Faster load times: You should notice improved performance when you load large amounts of data in the data grid and you can view all of your keywords at once for an account.
