Coke Zero has announced impressive visitor figures for the Coke Zero Gaming Zone on MSN, an exciting new and interactive gaming platform that the brand launched across nine European markets in May.

Based on proven success in France last year, MSN & Coke Zero decided to roll-out the Coke Zero Gaming Zone to an additional eight European markets including UK & Ireland, Nordics, Belgium and the Netherlands.

One of the first major brand partnerships of its kind in the gaming world, Coke Zero identified gaming as a relevant way to actively engage its core audience of 18-25 year-old men. Consumer reaction and visitor numbers to the site, over two million to date, are highly encouraging and indicate that Coke Zero Gaming Zone will continue to grow in popularity.

Coke Zero Gaming Zone on MSN ensures consumers get all the very latest games news and reviews as well as access to games, quizzes, cheats and trailers, plus a major PlayStation competition later in the year, available exclusively to Coke Zero consumers.

"We’re delighted with the results we’ve seen since the launch of the Coke Zero Gaming Zone on MSN.” said Michel Palmen, Senior Brand Manager for Coke Zero. "MSN is a great platform for us to engage with our audience through an activity that we know they love and being able to do it across so many countries is ground breaking. This is something that we are particularly proud to be taking the lead on."

"Covering nine markets this is the largest single creative concept we have ever launched multinationally with Coke," commented Laurent Delaporte, Vice President EMEA, Microsoft Advertising. "Developed by our dedicated global creative solutions team, the Coke Zero Gaming Zone is, to our knowledge, the first time any portal has created a channel on this scale across Europe."
