E. How do I import ads?

If you already run large campaigns on other search advertising platforms, you can import your ads and keywords automatically. Keep in mind that different search advertising tools typically require slightly different data formats; you will need to adjust your formatting before you import. Microsoft adCenter accepts Microsoft Office Excel or comma-separated values (A text-format data file in which stored values are separated by commas. CSV file names typically end with a .csv extension—for example, "my_file.csv".) (.csv) files and offers templates of both to make sure your data is formatted correctly.

Tip
Make sure to close the file before you import it. If you have seen errors when importing, this typically eliminates many of the errors.
