B. Can I import my Google Ads?The following instructions are provided to help guide you through the process of importing your keywords and ads from your currently active P4P campaigns on Google.
These instructions will provide you with the information you need to:
- Export your data into an Excel file from Google or Overture.
- Modify your data into a file format that can be imported into Microsoft adCenter.
- Import your data into Microsoft adCenter.
Important: To use this feature, be sure that your web browser is set to allow pop-ups.
- Login to your Google adWords account
- Click on "Reports"
- Click on “Create a Report Now”
- Choose these options:
- Report type = Ad Performance
- Make sure the box next to text ad is checked
- View = Summary
- Date Range = set the range you want to download
- Campaigns & Ad Groups = All Campaigns and Ad Groups
- If you do not want to export all your campaigns and ad groups use the manually select option and select the campaigns and orders that you would like to export.
- Click on the Add or Remove Columns link and make sure the following items are selected:
- Under Level of Detail
- Campaign
- Keyword
- Adgroup
- Under Attributes
- Campaign Status
- Ad Group Status
- Display URL
- Headline
- Daily Budget
- Destination URL
- Description Line 1
- Description Line 2
- Keyword Status
- Keyword Matching
- Keyword Destination URL
- Current Maximum CPC
- Under Performance Statistics
- Choose any one of the options in order to run the report
- Name the Report
- Click on Create Report
- Download the Report in .csv format
- Save Report
- Email Report
