Tobias Gärtner is Managing Director of Scholz&Friends Interactive and responsible for the interactive business in Hamburg and Berlin. 

 

Scholz&Friends is one of the leading creative agencies in Germany (constant Top3 agency in the last 10 years) and according to the Big Won Report 2007 one of the 5 most creative agencies in the world.

 

Before joining Scholz&Friends he was Managing Partner at Germany’s biggest independent online marketing agency and was responsible for accounts like Mars, Swiss and Weight Watchers and managed the agency’s international offices and partners.

 

Tobias started his career in dialog marketing in 1994 at the Dusseldorf based agency Jahns, Rapp Collins. He moved on to digital in 1996 and to Munich where he joined b.a.s. interactive (since acquired by Publicis) and won his first shortlist at the first ever Cyberlions.  In 2000 Tobias accompanied the argonauts in Munich in their quest for the Golden Fleece before joining Plan.Net as Managing Director in 2002.

 

Tobias is married to his wife Sandra and is the proud father of his son, Paul.
