Lean Mean Fighting Machine - the Mouse that roared at Cannes Lions 08

This year’s Cyber Lions winners included some of the fantastic campaigns that grabbed prizes in our 2008 Mouse Awards. Lean Mean Fighting Machine, the winner of our top Mouse Award, struck gold, silver and bronze at the Cyber Lions for its campaigns for Virgin Bets and Emirates Airlines. The judges in Cannes also named them Interactive Agency of the Year. Well done Lean Mean Fighting Machine!

Their superbly innovative campaign for Virgin Bets helped Lean Mean Fighting Machine scurry off with the Lion’s share of our 2008 Mouse awards, as judge’s enthused over a surge in the standard of digital creativity across Europe.

Besides Gold for its Virgin Bets work, which also won a Mouse for best overall use of the Microsoft network, the agency scooped Gold and Silver awards for its Emirates campaigns.

Spanish agency Netthink got in on the Gold act through its ‘Impossible is nothing’ blogging work for Adidas, with further campaigns from Sweden, Italy and the UK adding to an impressive line-up of Mouse Award winners.

“The Mouse Awards grow in stature every year and this year there was some stiff competition,” said Dave Bedwood, Creative Partner at Lean Mean Fighting Machine. It’s a real honour to have won these awards especially when they are judged by such a high calibre of European creative talent and industry peers.”
