Fernanda Romano

Creative Director, JWT London

Fernanda RomanaFernanda Romano is originally from São Paulo, Brasil, which is where she began her career in advertising.  She worked at Carillo and Pastore EURO RSCG before moving on to work at several internet companies such as: Parlo.com, Starmedia, Tantofaz.net (Loquesea Inc.) and iBest.

Fernanda then joined DM9DDB as Director of Interactive Communications and was made Director of Other Medias and Special Projects at the end of 2004.  Tasked with driving the integration of traditional and digital media, she successfully led a team of 32 – which included both creative and production staff.

 

Before coming to London in 2008, she was Global Creative Director at Lowe Madrid.


In the ten years since she first entered the industry, Fernanda has accumulated a lot of experience in several product categories and won several major awards, including being named one of Ad Age’s ‘Women to Watch’ in 2007.  She is a member of the Creative Social (www.creativesocial.com).
