Research was conducted to gauge consumer response to ads within the new Windows 8 ad platform, and to understand how consumers felt about ads within the new format.


Solution

Windows 8 surveyed a number of consumers using the new platform to understand their reactions to advertising within the format.


Results

Thirty-three percent of users agreed that advertising on Windows 8 improves their opinion of a brand.  Scores for ad recall for Windows 8 Ads in Apps are very high and outperform the benchmark for microsite evaluation. And a significant percentage of users felt ads in Windows 8 are cutting-edge, innovative and trustworthy.
