Today, Publicis Groupe Phonevalley and Microsoft Mobile Advertising launched a Mobile Advertising alliance. I strongly believe this partnership will allow us to deliver together improved consumer experience and bring more value to advertisers.
Phonevalley is the mobile arm of the Publicis group. They operate as Publicis Groupe's mobile marketing agency sitting inside VivaKi.
We will work together to design innovative packaged mobile advertising solutions for six industry verticals: luxury, retail, entertainment, automotive, travel and financial services.
For example, for an automotive manufacturer the package could include a customized mobile internet site, which would display specific product lines and new cars. The customized site would encourage consumers to visit car dealers through a 'test drive' booking tool and a dealer locator function on the site. To efficiently drive the most qualified audience, the package would take advantage of the innovative ad formats and new targeted mobile media features such as behavioural targeting that we have just launched.
We will be able, thanks to this agreement, to better and earlier integrate the site creation and the media plan, resulting in more compelling experience for the consumers. Additionally, by utilizing data from dedicated vertical research and post test results, we will improve the efficiency and efficacy of our advertisers campaigns.
We took the opportunity of Advertising Week, here in New York for this announcement, especially as Charles Johnson, the General Manager of Microsoft Mobile Advertising and Alexandre Mars, the CEO of Phonevalley where on stage together today, during the CEO panel at the Mobile Advertising Summit.
This is an important step for both of us and for the industry. Mobile is growing and obviously becoming a mainstream digital advertising medium.
