Toyota and Microsoft teamed up for a second season of the award-winning series “Appetite for Life,” featuring Andrew Zimmern of TV’s “Bizarre Foods.” Andrew and his Toyota Venza bring users along to fill their appetite for food knowledge, this season focusing on fascinating food trucks. Of course, the food and fun in the videos are just the start - Bing Maps and Curbside Cuisine Locators let users find their favorite foods on the go so they can join in on the eats from the streets as well.

Wendy’s and Microsoft harnessed the full power of the Microsoft network and developed a unique comprehensive branded program with “It Happened for Real.” Hosted by “The Last Comic Standing’s” Jeff Dye, this original comedy series focuses on the outrageous things happening in all aspects of our lives. The feature includes stories sure to interest everyone, including the key Wendy’s consumer, and is a first-of-its-kind branded entertainment experience solution with three-screen distribution, including an MSN Homepage takeover.
The IAB Filmstrip empowers advertisers to create a single ad unit that leads consumers through a concise and logical path, seamlessly transitioning through the sequential stages of the purchase funnel. As users browse through the MSN Network, the IAB Filmstrip leverages browser cookies and ad-sequencing technology to serve targeted 300x600 advertisements. The IAB Filmstrip includes several user-experience hooks to show the user additional functionality and draw attention to the user, such as rollover functionality and mouse wheel/browser scrolling.
By appearing as though the ad unit is behind the webpage, the Page Reveal entices users to interact through various innovative transitions and reveal a full-page layer of branded content - without interrupting the user’s browser experience. Upon engagement, users can click to uncover content chunks through the main navigation elements, or roll over and click on hidden sections to move through a branded journey and discover content. Advertisers can build a single full-page ad unit, and the Page Reveal product can be applied to any initial size or placement across any publisher.
Global Creative Solutions helped Team Detroit develop a custom interactive gaming hub on the MSN.com Homepage, and then re-deployed it as a mid-tier hub living on MSN.com. Leveraging multi-user technology, users were able to race a Lamborghini against a Fiesta in real time against another user, play a stackable teddy bear game side by side with an opponent, and create their own personalized custom music mixes within the expanded unit. Using social media deep-linking, users could share game scores and results with their friends.
Intel and Vice created "The Creators Project," which spent a year travelling the globe hosting events from New York to Beijing celebrating the innovations and innovators at the forefront of creativity, culture and technology. Global Creative Solutions was inspired to create an online experience that would allow users unable to attend to get a feel for the excitement and innovation of the three-day event. Using the latest Microsoft technologies such as Deep Zoom, Photosynth and Silverlight, GCS created an immersive and interactive online space to engage this highly creative and influential group.
