Jaron takes the IAB MIXX audience on an avatar journey that started 30 years ago and lives on today through technology like the Kinect. He explained how the concept of an avatar originated and why they are so important. Instead of thinking about what gadgets are out there, he challenges us to look at biology, at our brains. If you look at the real passions of people, it is the ability to touch that is important to each of us, he said. The human sensory motor is what made the Kinect such a desired device.
