Description
    • This is a user-initiated, Flash-based product that can be run in any UAP placement.
    • Available from EyeWonder in Instant Play (host-initiated) Video Ad, Self-Select (user-initiated) Video Ad and/or Rich Media Ad versions.
    • The panel expands over page content upon user mouse over to gain user attention.
    • After a 15-second animation or 30-second video, the panel retracts into the UAP placement.

The End-User Experience
  1. User visits an MSN page scripted with the EyeWonder Expanding Ad. The ad loads into the UAP ad placement.
  2. The video or other rich media experience begins.
  3. Once the page has fully loaded, the “polite” download begins, up to 100k.
  4. If the user mouses over certain areas within the UAP placement, a panel expands to offer an additional (or larger), video or other rich media experience.
  5. After a fixed duration, if the user mouses off the ad, or if the user clicks on the close button, the panel retracts into the UAP placement.
  6. Any time the user mouses over the display ad space again, the panel will again expand.

Ad Submission Guidelines
MSN requires 3 business days from the date tags are received from EyeWonder for testing, scheduling and publishing tags on the MSN network. The MSN 3-day turnaround time will commence once a complete creative submission is received by MSN and when a corresponding MSN Order is signed.
 
Please refer to EyeWonder regarding their creative submission policies and lead times.
 
Once tags are finalized by EyeWonder, they should be forwarded to your MSN Account representative with the submission information listed below. The MSN Account representative will then coordinate directly with adsubmit@microsoft.com for implementation.
 
Send to your MSN Account Manager the following submission information:
    • Advertiser Name.
    • Order Number.
    • Start Date.
    • End Date.
    • Page Group Code.
    • Creative: Width.
    • Creative: Height.
    • EyeWonder Tag.
