The User Experience
- User visits a Fox Sports page scripted with the Unicast supported Active Header type ad. The creative will load as a single file, asynchronous with content download, ie, ad will load following content.
- Shortly after the download of the ad creative file, execution of the float component will begin.
- Execution of the float component will entail the covering of the of FoxSports scoreboard header (an area of 980x80 pixels) for a period of 7 seconds, after which the float will contract or dissolve into a 120x30 anchor placement in the right portion of the header.
- The uninitiated execution of the float component will be frequency capped to twice per user per day. Impressions served beyond that cap will require user click initiation for float execution.
- The creative must contain a “close” or “collapse” button with which the user may close the expanded float experience at any time.
- The duration of the float experience, whether host or user initiated will be limited to a duration of 7 seconds. Following the 7 second period, or upon user close click, the unit will “float” back to the 120x30 anchor in the right side of the header.
